We want to ensure that your always feel comfortable and confident when getting your wax. There’s no reason to be embarrassed – our therapists are highly trained professionals who have seen it all! To ensure no hairs are missed and we can work as quickly as possible, It’s easiest if you are completely bare, although disposable g strings are available if required.
For best results, our therapists require at least a 1/2 centimetre of hair so that it can be removed without breaking.
Have a shower before your appointment and avoid applying any moisturiser to the area to ensure that it is completely dry. If you’re unable to take a shower, our therapists will provide wipes so that you can freshen up before your appointment
Your skin is at it’s most sensitive before or during your period, so it’s best to plan your wax around this. If you have no choice but to get a wax while on your period we ask that your please wear a tampon and avoid your heaviest days
Your appointment will take approximately 15 minutes. Like all waxing, the pain will depend on your own pain threshold, however our therapists will take all steps to ensure the pain is as minimal as possible
You will need to rebook every 4-6 weeks. Please avoid shaving in between appointments as this will mess up your hair growth cycle and leave you with constant short, spikey hairs
Our basic Skin Needling service, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy is skin needling with high-grade Hyaluronic acid and no electroporation (see below).
This treatment combines traditional Skin Needling with Electroporation & tailored serum for more effective results. Electroporation is a gentle electrical field that helps open the doors of skin cells, allowing a serum to be introduced more efficiently. When we use this on the skin, it supercharges the way things can go through it, like a turbo boost for delivering products. This treatment combines Skin Needling with an advanced Mesotherapy serum tailored specifically to your skin concerns e.g. ant-ageing, pigmentation, fine lines. It is one of the most advanced skin rejuvenation treatments available that can treat all skin types, concerns and conditions. During this treatment the serum is needled into the skin with electro-stimulating pulses to maximise your results and treat your skin concern.
We also provide a needle-free treatment. This treatment uses Electroporation without the needling to help the skincare formulas go deeper into your skin. This option is perfect for people with sensitive skin or anyone who wants a non-invasive, needle-free alternative to skin needling while still getting the same great benefits for their skin.
Microneedling is a non- invasive treatment that has little downtime which will help to stimulate new collagen production and improve the skin tone and texture.

Before the treatment
Before each treatment we will conduct an in-depth consultation to make sure you are the ideal candidate for the treatment and check there are no contraindications present. Here you can discuss your skin concerns your therapist. Prior to your treatment, you should avoid Retinol, active serums & acids 7 days prior to and after your appointment.
How many sessions do I need?
A minimum of 3 sessions. Your specific skin concerns will also determine how many sessions you may require.
Who is needling not suitable for?
After the treatment
At the end of your treatment there will be erythema present and blood spotting can occur. The skin may be red for 24 – 72 hours. We recommend that you don’t put anything on your skin for the next 12-24 hours and avoid direct sunlight. At the end of the treatment, a take home care guide will be provided.

Enquire NowPlease arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. This allows us to ensure you are relaxed and ready to make the most of your Self experience. If you are more than 10 minutes late for your booking we may not have time to complete the service as a whole and such, it may need to be rescheduled or moved to the next available appointment.
We require a 50% deposit at the time of your booking and have a strict 12 hour cancellation policy. If you cancel or make any changes within this time you will forfeit the total fee of your booking, this includes if you are a no-show or are 10 minutes or more late. This includes those using a gift card.
All Self gift cards are non-refundable and non-transferable and are only to be used exclusively for Self treatments. Gift Cards cannot be used in conjunction with any other promo code or sale.
For the safety and comfort of our staff and clients, we ask that no children or additional guests accompany you to your appointment. This includes newborns. We ask that you please make arrangements before your visit as we may need to reschedule.
All Self treatments are available for those 16 years and over.
If you are, or think you may be pregnant, please inform our friendly staff prior to your appointment. Although we recommend you consult with your doctor first, we have a number of treatments suitable for mums to be and nursing mums.
