TPR Bride Bec Duncan Shares Her Bridal Beauty Prep

As part of The Bridal Edit, our online resource for all your pre-wedding beauty tips, including what treatments to book and when, expert advice, and your very own complimentary bridal beauty checklist, we share the incredibly heartwarming stories of our TPR Brides so you too can be inspired and prepared as you plan ahead for your wedding day.

This week we are excited to share an interview with TPR Bride Bec Duncan. Surrounded by white florals and travertine stone, Bec married her partner Voli earlier this year with a relaxed, coastal wedding set in Sydney’s Northern Beaches with stunning waterfront views of Whale Beach. Pairing two breath-taking gowns by Kyha Studios with a TPR tan, she worked closely with the team at SELF by The Parlour Room to ensure her skin was absolutely glowing on the day.

Read the full interview below to find out exactly what went into Bec’s bridal beauty prep and the advice she has for future brides to be.

The Backstory

Voli and I were together for a year and a half before we got engaged in 2021 and then married on the 19th of February 2022.

We were super lucky to keep our original wedding date all the way through covid, with lots of positive vibes and manifestations. Our ceremony was in an open outdoor garden and our reception was on the waterfront of Whale Beach. Two stunning venues!

The Inspiration…

We were planning for an overseas Island wedding in Fiji or Bali, however, Covid had other plans. We wanted to keep the island and earthy tones, so we went for a lot of white florals, travertine stone, fairy lights, and candles.

My two gowns were from Kyha Studios, my two hairstyles were created by Peter Thomsen and my makeup was done by my beautiful makeup artist Leah Baines

The Prep…

Skincare

I love my Ole Henriksen products and am religious with my skincare morning and night. I did purchase the 3-month Bridal Package at the Parlour Room which was amazing and so fun. Jess really helped prep my skin with the Fire and Ice Facial and the Glow and Go Facial, my two favourites!

Beauty

I loved the Vida Glow Collagen Powders from The Parlour Room, I found these helped with my wedding glow. My spray tan was also from The Parlour Room and I chose Santorini as my colour which worked really well with my skin tone.

Her advice for future Brides-To-Be…

Be as organised as you can, enjoy the process and remember the reason why you are getting married.

Celebrating love with your nearest and dearest is so special and it really is the best day ever.
